Sappi: Hold my chainsaw.

Sappi was in need of a way to stand out from their competitors when it came to paper conventions and mailers. To do it, we took a deep dive into their sustainability process.

I spent tens of hours interviewing forest managers, loggers, and Sappi representatives to get the real story. Then distilled the information down into something that’s easy to digest while showing off the possibilities of the product. Introducing the pop-up book that changed the game.

The story begins with the strategic and thoughtful way licensed foresters and logging contractors choose a tree to harvest. Then we follow that single tree through harvest, processing, production, samples of the products it could become (of course, all are recyclable), then back to the original forest where new trees are sprouting.
